Billy's Old World Pizza: Authentic Chicago-Style Pizza in Colorado Springs

What a great place here, the owner is incredibly kind and wonderful, and the food is phenomenal. I have never had a Chicago style deep dish. But based on everything I have read, this seemed incredibly authentic and the owner is from Chicago... the dough is simply some of the best I have ever tasted.

If you see a 1 star review for this place, it’s the customers fault. This place…. Was suggested by a friend of mine. I’m from Chicago and have been HUNTING a TRUE Chicago style/Chicago tasting pizza place in the springs for 3 years now. This is it. When I walked in I smelled my childhood of home run inn and Rosatis and ALS pizzeria back home. This is truly the best pizza in the springs and I now refuse to go anywhere else. Very affordable as well! A Family size pizza with 2 toppings for $30! Where else is even close?! MOST important! The owner and his compadre are some of the nicest/coolest people I had the chance to have a short conversation with in a long time. I can’t thank my friend enough for telling me about this mouth watering pizzeria.

I haven't been by in awhile.... I was afraid that it would be as good as I remember, man I was wrong.... Jim was awesome and the food was stupendous. the Chicago deep dish was the real deal... I feel like I was burning as many calories as I was eating just lifting each slice. The crust was crispy, but packed full of toppings. You could taste the care taken and the fresh ingredients in every bite. I'll definitely be back over and over and over again. if you wanna help out a local business and treat yourself, the what are you waiting for.

Loved the homemade fresh sauce and dough. Having lived in Chicago and burbs it’s not as sweet as Giordano’s, as best as I can remember, it is a lovely pizza in its own right! You won’t be disappointed! Will be back once I burn off the calories hiking!

If you're in Colorado Springs and love authentic, handmade food—Billy’s Pizza Cafe is an absolute must-visit! I had their homemade Chicago-style pizza, and it blew me away. You can taste the difference in every bite—everything is made from scratch, and they even grind their own meat and stuff their own sausage in-house. That kind of dedication to quality is rare, and it shows in the flavor and texture of the pizza. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside and doughy in the middle, the sauce was rich and savory, and the sausage? Out of this world. Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and food that clearly comes from passion and craftsmanship. Easily one of the best pizza spots I've ever been to. Highly recommend!

The Chicago pizza is amazing. We got the deep dish with sausage and an original pepperoni. I enjoyed watching the game and eating pizza with my family of 5. Give them a try. It's well worth the money.

We got pizza for the whole construction crew and could not stop talking about how delicious it was! Excellent crust, thick cheese, and fresh toppings. It's clear the owner knows what he's doing and has every aspect of his pizza dialed in to bring you an authentic Chicago experience. If you're from the Midwest, Billy's will feel familiar the moment you walk in the door (if you know, you know).

From Wisconsin and recently visited Colorado Springs. We were driving around and noticed Billy's and was hoping for some good pizza. Well they certainly came through. We ordered the Hawaiian on thin crust and it was excellent. My wife and I are all but one piece in our sitting. Owner was very polite and talkative. Very refreshing and I would definitely go again if I get back in town. Highly recommend!
